Joseph Thomas Reinek II

Joseph Thomas Reinek II, 53, a resident of Jupiter, FL since 2014, formerly of Glassboro/Pitman, NJ, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 in Jupiter. He was born January 13, 1966 in Dover, DE to Joseph and Linda Reinek.

Joe loved spending time with his family, especially with his brother Michael. As a young boy he was a talented wrestler and he enjoyed hunting and fishing which he continued to do throughout his entire life. Joe was not only an athlete while he studied at Glassboro High School, he was attractive and popular with his peers being voted Prince of his class, his Sophomore year. Everyone that knew Joe loved him.

Joe was a hard worker with an intense work ethic regardless of the jobs he held. Upon graduating HS, Joe worked for Bowman Construction before relocating to Ft. Myers Beach, Florida where he was a bartender at the Reef Restaurant & Bar with his best friend and brother Michael and his dad Joe. While in Florida, Joe became a father to his one and only son, Joey the third. The birth of his son forever changed the course of his life, being the best thing that ever happened to him. Together they relocated back to New Jersey to begin a new life together. While living in New Jersey, Joe worked for South Jersey Produce but ultimately found his niche at Campbell Express where he dedicated the next 14 years.

In 2014, Joe found himself back in Florida, where he spent time between coasts so he could be with both his parents, Joe and Linda, to whom he was a good son. Joe adored his sisters; Veronica and Denise. Joe spent the last 5 years of his life in Florida before his very untimely death. Joe recently discovered BeachFit and absolutely loved working out. He spent his free time talking to the love of his life Mera, who he planned on marrying. Joe will always be remembered for his love of family, coffee, cats, Marlboro Reds, Pink Floyd and the wittiest sense of humor.

Joe was a lifelong Philadelphia Eagles Fan. He attended Calvary Church, Jupiter with his beloved mother.

He is survived by his loving son Joseph Thomas Reinek, III; his loving mother, Linda Reinek of Jupiter, FL; three loving siblings, Veronica Tranchina (Michael) of Jupiter, FL, Michael Reinek (Cori) of Cape Coral, FL, and Denise Lockbaum (Gordon) of Worcester, MA; 11 nieces and nephews, Michael, Jaclyn, Erin, Mason, Eryk, Brendan, Ethan, Isabella, Gordon, Olivia, and Luke. One great niece, Riley; as well as Floyd and Ziggy, his cats.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Thomas Reinek.

Services will be Sunday, August 4th at 3:00 pm at Calvary Church, 10100 W Indiantown Road, Jupiter, FL
