Richard Del Russo Obituary

Richard John Del Russo, 83, passed away at his home in Wellington, FL on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from the results of a stroke. He was born on April 6, 1936 in Seneca Falls, New York to Anthony and Antoinette (Molinari) Del Russo.

He spent the majority of his career as a regional branch manager for Xerox. Dick is still remembered today, by those who worked for him, as a magnetic personality whose love for people made him a leader in his field. He will be dearly missed by Judy, his cherished wife of 51 years. His children will remember him as a loving father who took pride in their every accomplishment and championed their every cause. He was known to everyone he met as a kind and generous “gentleman” in the finest sense of the word. He will be sorely missed.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Frank Del Russo. He is survived by his loving wife, Judith B. Del Russo, son David Del Russo, daughter Julie Del Russo, sisters Janet Labrato (Joe), Joan Curry, Ann Ottermiller (Bill), and many loving nieces and nephews.

A mass of remembrance will be celebrated at 9:30 am, October 5, 2019 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 13645 Paddock Drive, Wellington, FL 33414. Interment will follow at 10:45 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL 33414.
