Rose Castaldi Obituary

       Rose Castaldi

Rose Castaldi was born to Italian immigrant parents Louis & Angelina Rondinello on January 15th, 1924.  She grew up in Harrison, New York.  She had loving family around her.  She had two brothers, John Rondinello (deceased) and Louis Rondinello, and two sisters, Anna Liantonio and Mary Corrado.  She worked making American soldiers uniforms.  She married John Castaldi at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Harrison, New York and had three children she loved deeply - James Louis Castaldi (deceased), John Castaldi and Deborah McVan.  Rose’s surviving children and grandchildren are her son John Castaldi and his children Amanda, John and James, her daughter Deborah McVan and Deborah’s husband Michael and their two children Jesse and Lauren.  Rose was loved by all.  She moved to Florida with her family in 2001.  She loved Jesus, praying and the Saints, especially Saint Jude.

She was kind, lovable, funny and was always there for her family and friends as well as anyone who needed her.  She loved to cook Italian food (as well as other types of food) and dress stylishly, always matching her clothing with the nail polish on her long nails she took pride in.  She loved music, animals, fashion, laughing, going out to dinner and traveling with her family.  She put her family and friends before herself.  She loved her Italian heritage, playing cards, getting her hair done, helping others, going out dancing and having heartfelt chats.

Rose was very loving, creative and witty, always making any room she entered more stylish, unique and brighter.  Her fierce love for her family and humanity in general will make her missed so very deeply by all. The world grew colder the day God called her home.  Until we meet again, we love you, stay beautiful and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your presence on earth.  You truly were one of the most loving, life-changing and beautiful souls to so many lives, you truly were the best.  God Bless You.
