It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Areli Gamez, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, who departed this world peacefully on Monday, April 14th, 2025, at the age of 52. Born in Yoro, Honduras, on Wednesday, October 18th, 1972, Areli brought warmth and joy into the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

A cherished resident of Loxahatchee, Florida, Areli was a devoted homemaker who dedicated her life to nurturing her family and enriching their home with love and kindness. She was married to her soulmate, Wilfredo "Willy" Gamez, Sr., for over three decades, a testament to their enduring love story that began when they were just 19 years old.

Areli is survived by her loving husband, Willy, her adoring children, Wilfredo Gamez, Jr. and Ashley Gamez, and her beloved mother, Ofrecina Sanchez. She was the proud and loving caretaker of her two dogs, Monchito and Pepito, and her cat, Bobby, who were as much a part of her family as anyone.

Her interests were deeply rooted in family and simple joys; she loved spending time camping and was well-known for her incredible culinary skills, always ensuring that no one left her home hungry. To Areli, family and furry companions meant the world, and her legacy of love will continue to inspire those she left behind.

A Celebration of Life honoring Areli's memory will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home & Cremation Care Life Celebration Suite {11347 Okeechobee Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411}, on Saturday, April 19th, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Friends and family are invited to come together to share memories and celebrate the beautiful life she led.
