Prior to his passing, a nurse asked Clive what she should know about him, and he replied, “I am a good father. I am a good grandfather. I was a good son. I am a good brother.” He was indeed all those and so much more to anyone who had the privilege to meet him in his life's journey.
Clive was born on September 14, 1944 in Kingston, Jamaica. After migrating to the Bronx, NY, Clive, a machinist, worked for many prominent companies in the New York Tri-State area. He relocated to the Atlanta, GA area in the late 1990s and made it his home until February 2022. A brief battle with illness brought him to live with his family in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. He departed peacefully from this life, surrounded by his loved ones on April 13, 2022.
Clive leaves behind to forever cherish his memory his only child, Daughter: Karen Taylor, Granddaughter: Kerrian Taylor, Sister: Beverley James, Brother-in-Law: Horace “Jammy” James, Nieces and Nephews: Suzanne James, Darren James, Natalie Wiltshire and husband Larry Wiltshire. Great Nieces and Nephews: Jonathan Gordon, Jasmine Gordon, Amara James, Jason Chambers, Hayden Wiltshire, Mason Wiltshire and Dylan Gordon, extended family including aunt and cousins, his Atlanta Family, the Karam’s, and an abundance of good friends.
