Denise Ann (Persson) Schmaltz, 59 of West Palm Beach, FL passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. She was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, FL on August 23, 1962. Daughter of Richard of Flushing, New York and Barbara (DiRienzo) Persson of Tewksbury, Massachusetts. Denise graduated from Twin Lakes High School in 1981. She loved to design and paint woodcrafts, especially for Christmas. She spent many years selling her woodcrafts at fairs around South Florida. Laughter was always a part of Denise's day. She was full of one liners. If anyone ever needed a pick-me-up, she could always help out with that. She loved spending time teaching Sunday school, playing with and spoiling her granddaughters, who she became a grandmother to six years ago. She always had a story to share about them and they were her pride and joy.
Denise was a kind and loving person and was always there to help in any way she could. She had a very big heart. Denise was preceded in death by her father Richard Persson. Survivors include her husband, Robert Schmaltz II from West Palm Beach, FL whom she married in November, 1990. She had three children, Brandy (Schmaltz) Clark and husband Aaron, Robert Schmaltz III and Brittney Schmaltz all of West Palm Beach, FL. Her grandchildren are Raegan and McKinley Clark. Denise also leaves behind her mother Barbara Persson, brothers William and Donald and sisters, Debbra and Gigi. Denise had many beloved nieces and nephews from Florida, Ohio and Virginia. Denise touched many people during her life and she will never be forgotten. We will all miss her so dearly. Heaven has gained another wonderful angel.
