Edna Davis, age 68, resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Edna Merle Davis was the second child born to Stanley and Dorcas Dauswell on Feburary 19, 1953 in the parish of Kingston, Jamaica West Indies. At the age of three years she was left with a family in Rolands Field, St Thomas to stay for a few days, where upon those few days turned into a life time Mrs. Berdie Edwards took her as her own daughter and saw her through elementary and high school. Upon completion of high school she went on to Micoteachers college, from which she graduated as an elementary school teacher. As a teenager Edna accepted her Lord as savior and was baptized by Pastor Kelly at her home church in Roland field, St. Thomas.
In 1973, Edna met the love of her life, Kenneth Davis, six years later on the 26 th of August 1979 they became husband and wife officiated by Pastor Kelly. In 1984 both migrated to the United States. Upon arrival in the United States Edna decided to change her profession and attended The city University of NY(York College ) where she graduated with a BSN in nursing.
While working as an RN she enrolled at Long Island University where she gained her MSN degree. After working in management for some years she felt she got more satisfaction
from treating patient so she decided to return to school and obtained her NP degree, entered private practice and carry her own patience load, she continue working in private practice
until in 2017 when she thought she had given enough and decided to retire. Edna believed in living life in the present and as such traveled the world with Kenneth by her side. Together they have been to approximately 42 countries. Edna had an heart of gold and willingly assisted anyone she could.
Edna is survived by her husband Kenneth, son David and wife Marie, daughter Denise and husband Elvis, grand-daughter Jada,mother Berdie Edwards (Mama B), sisters Pansy, Angela,
Veviene, brothers Kenneth and Winston, sister-in law Camileter, niece Melody, cousin Sonia, aunt Modesta, Other nieces, nephews and cousins and a host friends.
A visitation service will take place for Edna Davis from 9:30AM - 10:30AM at:

A funeral ceremony to commemorate the life of Edna Davis will commence from 10:30AM - 12:30PM.
Mrs. Davis will be peacefully laid to rest at: OUR LADY QUEEN OF PEACE CEMETERY, 10941 Southern Blvd., Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411
A repast will follow at the residence of Mr. Kenneth Davis.
