Maria D. Giraldo de Mejia, resident of Palm Beach County, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the age of 80.
Born in Barcelona, Colombia on July 3, 1940, Maria settled in Palm Beach County after initially arriving in New York City. She will rest permanently in Colombia alongside her parents.
Maria devoted her life to her family and is survived by her two children, Gloria Patricia Mejia and Diego Mejia, and four grandchildren, Bryan , David, Daniel, and Juliana.
In lieu of funeral services, we ask that friends and family honor Maria with a memorial donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, which she supported for many years.
