Milan Vesic Obituary

Milan Vesic, 74, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away from natural causes on January 2, 2023.

Milan was born in Liesen, Germany to the late Milenko and Elizabeth on November 25, 1948, before immigrating to Lake Worth, Florida in 1950. Attending Lake Worth High School, Milan chose to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Navy from 1968 through 1971.

Milan was stationed in Holy Loch, Scotland where he met and fell in love with his beloved wife Maria in the nearby town of Glasgow. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Milan returned to Florida and settled in West Palm Beach, Florida with Maria and his son Anthony to expand their family with the addition of his second son Milan (Mimi). Working for his family’s business Harbeke Plumbing for over 25 years, Milan bestowed the love for a good day’s work on both of his sons. In addition, Milan enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with his family outdoors whenever he could.

His grandsons always looked forward to stopping by his house whenever in Florida to pick grapefruits off his grapefruit trees or drink Kool-Aid from their fridge-- something they were not allowed to have back home. His grandchildren were always greeted with a smiling shock on his face, as their father Mimi never gave him or Maria proper notice before stopping by.

Milan is survived by his wife Maria, sons Anthony and Milan, brothers Tommy and Michael, daughter-in-law Bridget, and grandsons Christopher, Andrew, Joseph, and Patrick.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister Rosie.

The inurnment will will be held on Monday, January 30th, 2023, from 2:30 pm ~ 2:45 pm, at the South Florida National Cemetery located at:

6501 SR 7, Lake Worth, FL.  33449. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the cemetery at 3:30 pm in West Palm Beach.
