**OBITUARY FOR ROBERT BARNES**

Robert Edison Barnes, 73, of West Palm Beach, Florida, formally of Tinton Falls, New Jersey passed away on December 27, 2024. Robert was born in Bay City, Michigan, growing up his father was in the Coast Guard and he was fortunate enough to have lived all over the country including Hawaii. Robert was married to his best friend Linda for over forty years, they have three children, Stacie, Robert and Michael who all idolized him.

Robert and Linda traveled the world together, lived on a small farm and owned and operated Barnes Appliance Outlet and Barnes Trucking in Tinton Falls. Robert will be remembered by all of those that knew him as a generous hard working man who was always the life of the party. Robert had recently welcomed two granddaughters Mila Rose Mehmed (11 months) and Marlow Wren Barnes (5 months).

Robert also leaves behind his sister, Victoria and her husband, Bob Valdez, a sister-in-law, Susan Barnes and many nieces, nephews and friends. Robert was pre-deceased by his mother and father, Thomas and Alice Barnes, and his brother Tommy. Robert will be laid to rest at Saint Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey.
