Robert L. Hamilton

Robert Hamilton, age 77, resident of Lake Worth, Florida, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Bob was born in Meadville, PA to Clyde and Winnifred Hamilton, Bob always had a passion for bringing the best out of life. Being the oldest, no prank or joke was ever off limits. Growing up on a farm was long and hard work, but terrorizing his brother, Fred, and sister, Kathy, livened the mood and helped with those grueling days.

After a short stint in Edinboro College, Bob enlisted in the US Army. He was proud to serve and deeply loved his country. Upon returning, Bob ran a few bars and restaurants in northwestern Pennsylvania. There, he met Ursula, and they decided to move to Florida and work the beach night club scene. When it was time to start a family, Todd was born and they moved to Miramar. Bob became a real estate agent, then a mortgage broker, and provided a stable life for his family. Scott was born in 1986 and for the next 34 and a half years, Bob was a fixture in his boys’ lives. Bob was a part of nearly every event and for that we will always be grateful.

He wasn’t just a father, he was a best friend. While owning United Realty Consultants and United Mortgage Funding, Bob made countless friends and helped many people obtain the dream of home ownership. On February 25, 2021, Bob succumbed to an aggressive form of leukemia as both boys were by his side. Bob is survived by his two sons, Todd (Erika) and Scott (Heather); Sister Kathy; Brother Fred (Betty); Two grandsons, Matthew and Connor, with a third grandson due to arrive this summer; and many extended family and friends. He made an impression on everyone he met and was a selfless man. Bobby, Chief, Dad, we love you with all our hearts and you will forever be missed. Thank You for all the wonderful memories and all the fun. You lived life to fullest and shared every moment.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 20th, 2021, from 10:00 am ~ 12:00 pm, at Lakeside Funeral Home & Cremation Care.
