Sergio Huertas

Sergio Huertas, age 87, resident of Wellington, FL, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 due to complications with Parkinson's disease. Sergio was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico and was the 7th youngest of 8 children. He was married to Florentina Ojeda Huertas who predeceased him on October 5, 2011. Shortly after, Sergio moved to Florida to live with his sister, Elba. Prior to moving to Florida, he lived in New Jersey and had worked as foreman for a metal factory before retiring. He loved music, playing the guitar, singing and gambling at his favorite casinos in Atlantic City, New Jersey and then found other favorites in Florida. He was very loving and generous with his family and compassionate with others.
