Wilfrido Paez

Wilfrido L. Paez, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. Born in Sangolquí, Ecuador, he carried with him throughout his life the values of hard work, humility, courage, and deep devotion to family.

In 1956, Wilfridor proudly served his country as a pioneer member of Ecuador’s first paratrooper unit, a role that reflected his bravery, discipline, and unwavering commitment to service. This chapter of his life remained a source of pride and honor for him and his family.

Wilfridor is survived by his beloved wife, Gloria E. Paez, and their children: Alejandor Paez, Maria Elena Paez, and Carlos J. Paez. His family was his greatest pride, and he dedicated his life to providing love, guidance, and strength to those he cherished most.

Known for his gentle spirit and steady presence, Wilfridor touched the lives of many with his kindness and quiet wisdom. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, 2025, from 11:00 am ~ 1:00 pm, at Lakeside Funeral Home & Cremation Care.

Following the service Wilfrido Paez will be laid to rest at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd. Royal Palm Beach 33411 at 2:00 pm.
